    this happened like next door to me. Supposedly the toilets all malfunctioned and everyone had to evacuate for two hours. And all the bands played a bit sulkily. you know, no banter or anything. And a couple of the tents just didnt open. The guy from british sea power put two guitars down his pants.

    the BBC news article implied the artists that cancelled weren't getting paid AT ALL, not that they were haggling over pay, which is what southeastgigs seemed to be saying about wiley...

    well, with the track record of the promotors, I'm not sure I can blame them. But I'm glad that the replacements did such a god job of entertaining the people who were there, which I'm sure was no easy task
